Not sure what is going on with commenting but I will just keep writing!
We are in our third week of school and we are doing fantastic! The girls are back in the grove of things. Must admit, school is taking much longer than it was the past years, but I suppose as they advance in grade, the more intense the work will be, thus having it take longer.
Brittany had her first AHG get together, besides the Surfing for Sandals project, on Saturday. This was a meet up with the girls in her group specifically that she will complete some service projects with. She is SO excited to be a part of this. We smack ourselves for pushing her to do sports for so long, when what we are seeing is that, her gift could quite possibly be in missions/helping those in need. At her meeting they discussed doing something for the Buddy Walk! How cool is it that one of their goals has to do do with spending time with kids with special needs, and Brittany, being the new girl, has a sister with special needs that can help them meet that goal! She was so excited to have something to offer to the group!
Kallie is doing wonderful. Her wounds are about 90% closed. One little hole showed up but seems to be quickly closing. Everything seems to be going well for her! Thank you Jesus! She really needs nothing more to go wrong! She needs time to just be a kid!
Next week, co-ops for our home school group start. Both girls are taking an intro to Spanish class and Brittany is going to take part in a program called Junior Achievement Biz Town.Junior Achievement’s purpose is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. This program has been around for awhile, but was just recently made available to home schoolers! We are so excited to have her take part in this. I believe the program is a little intense for Kallie right now, but may put her into it in the future if it's still available.
Todd and I are doing well! I never thought I would be saying this, but we are praying for God to allow us to adopt another baby. Phew, I said it. We have about a year and a half left of a debt management program and then we will be able to proceed with those dreams, if that is what God has in store for our family. We do want to get a baby, but we are not sure how possible that is because we want to adopt in the US and we want the baby under one year. If it is too difficult, we are considering getting a tubal reversal. I just really would rather, if we have to spend money, to spend it getting a baby that is up for adoption. We are just so up in the air right now and need God to make the path clear for us. So if you will join us in our prayers for that, we would greatly appreciate it!
Well, I think that's all for now! I am tired and still have to write out tomorrow's lessons on the board! Procrastinator....YUP! LOL

Thanks so much for taking the time to read about me and my family!
